“I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.  My soul will make its boast in the Lord; the humble will hear it and rejoice.”  (Psalm 34:1-2)

The cry of each heart is lived out in daily life.  The passions and what drives them is evident in how each day is lived: a few moments once a week, or else a way of life.  This is the difference between a professed religion and a belief which sees life directed by faith.  Come to the place where your life is directed by the Lord and His ways, and hear the Word of the Lord and rejoice.

Lord, I am distracted by all of the troubles of this world.  I see and hear so many things and become confused and do not live as You are calling me to live.  Guide the thoughts of my mind and the meditation of my heart to come to the place where Your Word, which is forever, is always in my heart and on my lips.  Lead me O Lord into Your presence now and always.

Lord Jesus, You have taught us to pray without ceasing.  Guide me according to Your will that I would be led by Your Word into a life that is praising You all the day long.  Help me see clearly the ways of this world and work through the pollution in order to come to the place where I have Your Word on my lips and Your will emblazoned upon my heart.  Lead me, Lord Jesus, in the way I should go.  Amen.
