“But the wicked will perish; and the enemies of the Lord will be like the glory of the pastures, they vanish – like smoke they vanish away.  The wicked borrows and does not pay back, but the righteous is gracious and gives.  For those blessed by Him will inherit the land, but those cursed by Him will be cut off.”  (Psalm 37:20-22)

It seems as though the wicked flourish, but think back and realize that the wicked come to nothing.  They have their notoriety and then disappear.  You have been called by the Lord to walk in His ways, preparing to walk with Him forever.  Be led by the Lord and His ways and know the goodness that comes in spite of the wickedness around You.  Walk in the ways of the Lord.

Lord, show me the difference between the wicked and the good that I may see ever more clearly the way You have established for all those who are in You.  Lead me according to Your will to walk in Your ways all the days of my life, doing good and shunning what is wicked.  Keep my eye upon You that I would see clearly the path You have laid before me and do good..

Lord Jesus, You walked amongst all people without fear, bringing to You those who would hear Your voice and heed Your call.  Guide me Lord according to the Father’s purpose to live a life worthy of the calling You have given me.  You alone are able to direct where I need to go.  Give me ears to hear and eyes to see that I would obey the call You have placed upon my life.  Amen.
